Introducing Dash to LSBR! Hi folks.....whew, what a difference a few weeks makes! Before I came into the LSBR program, I was homeless on the streets. I was picked up and taken to a shelter looking pretty sad and severely underweight.
Look at me now! I've gained 20 pounds and just recently found myself in a foster home. I can't tell you how happy I am now! I'm estimated to be about 4 years old and, as you can see from my pictures, I do well with other dogs. I'd say I'm fitting into my foster home with three other dogs just fine! I'm also a big hit at the dog park.....I get along great with dogs....big and small! There are no cats or children in my foster home so I've yet to be evaluated in those categories. My foster mom says that I'm more dash-ing (as in handsome) than I am a dash-er! Although I'm a playful boy, I'm rather laid back.....chill! So, even though Ive not been officially evaluated around kids, given my calm nature and sweet disposition, I think I would do just fine in a home with kids! I'm very friendly to people I've met in the neighborhood on our walks.....and doing really well on a leash I might add! My foster mom says that I'm learning basic commands ....and, I don't mean to brag, but I've learned how to ring a bell at the back door when I need to go out! Oh, and my foster mom wants to make everyone aware that I'm every bit a loving cuddle bug!
Next stop, a permanent home! How would you like a DASHing mellow fellow to curl up with you on the couch and be your best companion?!
