Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

ADOPTION PENDING!

My name is Diesel.....such a rugged name for such a sweet boy!  I'm approximately 3 years old and was recently surrendered to a shelter by my family.  Yes, I'm very sad but, hey, no looking back, right?!  I'm only looking forward because I know there is a perfect forever home out there for me!

I'm a big boy and strong so although I'm very people friendly, I think I would do best in a home around older (ie: bigger) kids!  I walk well on a leash.....until I see a cat, that is!  So, I'm going to say no cats in my new home!  And just to be safe, let's also say no small dogs that look like cats! Everyone that meets me compliments me on being so sweet!  I'm very people friendly  

I was well taken care of in my former home so I know that I was loved.  I understand that sometimes circumstances change and my family wanted nothing but the best for me.  So here I go.......I'm single and ready to mingle!
