Looking for the perfect companion? Well, look no further. It’s me, Chopper! These great people at Lone Star Boxer Rescue are helping me network for a forever home and some people to love. Like many of the other dogs in the group, I am the product of a broken home. But that's OK because guess what? My new foster family thinks I hung the moon! I’ve shown them that I am a calm and laid back kind of guy. I’m quite playful, but I really don’t care for a lot of high energy in my environment. I’m learning to live with other dogs, my foster brother and sister, but I’m new at this and trying my best to get along. There are cats that live here too, but I’m only interested in their food! I’m crate trained and very quick to learn basic commands (especially “shake hands”). My foster mom takes me out every day and we try to do something new. We take long walks and I like to impress everyone with how well mannered I am. Not to mention, I manage to turn heads everywhere we go because I’m such a looker! I’ve been introduced to all kinds of other dogs and all age groups of people. Now I’m just anxious to have a forever home to share all the fun and love I have to give. I’m big, beautiful and healthy, and I can’t wait to meet YOU!
