Awesome Amos is a three-year-old mixed breed that has really gone through a rough time. When he was first rescued by a Good Samaritan, it appeared that he had been attacked by another dog. Instead, we
discovered that this sweet dog had been shot in the eye and forehead with a BB/pellet gun. In the week that it took for LSBR to be contacted, transport to be arranged, and a vetting appointment to be made, this
poor little guy was a real trooper and never once complained! Amos did lose his eye, as the BB went through his cornea, so the decision was made to remove the eye and sew it shut for cosmetic reasons. As you can see, he is still very handsome, and his foster mom says that he winks at everyone he meets! Amos is having trouble right now holding his left eye
open due to the pain, but this should get better as his right eye heals.
Amos gets along with other dogs, tested well with cats, and loves children. He is superbly crate-trained and is close to 100% house-trained. This terrific little guy would love nothing more than to be someone's constant companion in a loving home.
