Introducing Melvin to the LSBR program! Hello folks......Melvin here checking in! I want to thank all of my fans who followed me on the Harris County Animal Shelter page. Your networking and support saved me!
I‘m estimated to be about 5 years old and I’m a sweet, calm boy! I’m in an awesome foster home with lots of love and lots of other boxers! My foster dad says that I’m fitting in so well....I enjoy the company of other dogs and I just aim to please my people!
My foster dad just reported that I'm doing so well in my foster home! He says I'm a little reserved when it comes to new things but it doesn't take me long to feel comfortable and once I do, I'm just fine. I'm now sleeping on a dog bed in my foster dad's bedroom and he reports that I am an excellent sleeper....not only do I sleep throughout the night but I barely move! He also reports that I’m crate trained as well as house broken and gentle as a lamb so although I haven’t been tested around children, I think I would do Very well in a home with little ones.
My four favorite things are: meal time, treat time, being petted and being around my people! If you are looking for a mellow boy who wants nothing more than to love and be loved, look no further! Mellow Melvin is your man!
