Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

My name is Melina and I’m new to Houston!  I was just sprung from the Galveston County Animal Shelter And they estimate me to be between 1-2 years old.  They also say I’m smart and healthy, very sweet and I tested well with other dogs.  They say I’m an energetic player.....well, I’m a young boxer....what do you expect?!  I’m an energetic girl!  

Can you say underbite?!  I know...mine is very pronounced and I also know it makes me super adorable.....as does my natural tail!  Very distinct characteristics!  I also know basic commands like sit and shake.
