Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

My name is Otis. My sister Mila and I were rescued from a bad situation. When we were found we were both severely underweight and had heartworms. Now that our foster mom has fattened us up, we are looking for our forever home (hopefully together). My sister and I love to play together. She thinks that I am a chew toy and slobbers all over me. But I love her and we get along great. We also both love people, including kids! My sister and I are a ying and yang. We are complete opposites - but we complete each other. I am the lap potato. I love to give hugs and kisses to anyone that will sit still for me. If you sit down next to me I will sit in your lap. I am doing great with my crate and learning how to use the doggie door. How can you say no to a face like this?

A special thanks to the Labor and Delivery physicians and nurses at Memorial Southwest Hospital and Methodist Sugar Land Hospital for sponsoring Mila's medical tratment!
