Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Hello...my name is Sissy or 'love bug' as my foster dad calls me.  I'm what you would call a more laid back boxer with a very sweet disposition.  Having just had a little of puppies, I guess I have that maternal instinct.  I just love kids and I like to snuggle with the 10 year old son in my foster home.  I also get along well with other dogs but I just don't get the cats so I don't think I'd like to have any in my forever home.  I love to play with toys and ride in the car.  I am crate trained, house broken and getting better on a leash every day.  Okay, so what's not to like about me?  Nothing......won't you take me home?
