Hi, my name is Willie, like the legendary Willie Nelson. Not long ago, I was standing in the middle of a busy street not knowing where I was or what to do. I was so scared. I tried repeatedly to get into a truck with a man that worked for Centerpoint Energy but he was working and already had several dogs of his own. A lady came out of her house and looked angry at me. I was scared that she was going to call animal control to take me away.
I've heard the nightmare stories about other innocent dogs like me that immediately get euthanized at the local shelters just because of our breed. It is so unfortunate and sad, but I was a lucky guy and was rescued by a kind lady that is now fostering me. I'm a young guy, only about 8 - 9 months old. My foster mom fully vetted me and had me neutered. I play well with other dogs and do well with my foster's young daughter. I'm curious about the cat but not aggressive towards it. My favorite thing to do is play. I like to take every toy out of the toy box and spread them all over the house.
If I were IQ tested, you would be impressed. I'm a quick learner and in a very short time, I was house-trained and crate-trained. Luckily, I no longer sing Willie's popular song "On the Road Again". The road is no place for a sweet guy like me. The place for me is with you if you want lots of love and affection as well as the chance to impress your family and friends with a "smart, high IQ" pup like me.
