Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Hello everyone!  My name is Echo and I am a beautiful 1 year old white boxer.  I am deaf, but as you can tell from my name I don’t let that stop me.  My foster mother calls me a chameleon because I can blend in and get along with anyone.  I love people, other dogs, and even cats.  (Shhh…don’t tell my little secret.)  There is one other thing that I really, really love…WATER.  My dream is to have a family one day that will take me to a dog park with water so I can swim to my heart's delight.  I love to play fetch, tug-o-war with my foster brothers and sisters, and most of all cuddle with my people.  Even thought I can’t hear you, I can see you and I have learned several signs.  My foster mother is continuing to work with me on learning more.  Will you please consider adopting me?  I promise I will be your perfect little girl!
