Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

COURTESY POST: My name is Aries, and I have kind of an interesting parentage: boxer and dalmation! I think I'm pretty cute, and so does everyone who meets me. I am a year and a half, and I am deaf. But that doesn't keep me from enjoying life, especially playing fetch! I have lots of energy, and I love to play and go for long walks! I'm living with a really nice guy who is teaching me sign language. I can't tell you how cool that is! I'm house and crate trained, and I like to be around other dogs. Cats don't interest me that much. My original family had children, and I miss them so much, but they couldn't keep me. I hope another nice family will see what a sweet dog I am and decide to adopt me. My ears may not be able to hear, but my heart can give you more love than you could possibly imagine!
