Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

My name is Norman, Norman Anthony to be exact. I was found wandering on a highway very scared. I came to LSBR as a very skinny and starving 8 month old puppy.  I was adopted into a wonderful home with other boxer siblings.  Unfortunately, my parents can no longer care for us so they returned me back to LSBR so I can find my forever home.  

I am now approximately 7.5 years old and completely adorable.  I’m crate trained, house broken and I get along with everyone....kids, dogs, even cats!   I have to admit, I’m just about perfect!  Adopting me is the equivalent of winning the lottery!
