Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

ADOPTION PENDING!

My name is Oscar.....one sweet hunk of love!  I was found wandering the streets of Houston by a concerned citizen who contacted LSBR to find me a home!  Let me tell you, I am SO thankful for that help!  It's hard being a young guy on the streets alone!  

The lady that found me is currently fostering me and says that I'm such a sweet boy!  I'm good wtih her 3 dogs and I simply adore people!  I'm house broken and my favorite think to do is play fetch with a tennis ball!  I also love to "talk" and I am very playful!

I love being inside with my people and I love my doggie beg!  I am so excited about finding my forever home!  I am hoping you see the spark in me that my foster mom saw when she saved me!  I have so much to offer!
