My name is Louie and I'm about 2 years old. I found my way to LSBR as a stray after being hit by a car! My back leg was broken in a few places and after careful consideration, one of my back legs was amputated.
Don't feel sorry for me though......I'm just thankful to be alive and thankful that LSBR is going to help find me the perfect forever home. If you think having only three legs is going to slow me down, forget it! In case you aren't aware, animals faced with amputation fare very well!
