Hi everyone! I wanted to give you an update about me! I am now living with a family with three kids and I absolutely love them! I’m the happiest boxer-shar pei mix you will ever meet! My foster mom will tell you that I still have a lot of puppy in me, and yeah, I’m a little clumsy, but I am the sweetest dog she has ever been around! (Oops, I hope my foster brother Dempsey doesn’t hear that – I love Dempsey. I love everybody and everything, in fact. Even cats.) I also like to play and run and just be in the middle of everything! I crave attention, but I give as good as I get. I am house trained and crate trained, and I am the happiest when I can hang out with my family (or at least see them when I am sitting quietly in my crate). I let the kids love on me or lie on top of me and we have fun (gently) wrestling. I’m working on all of my commands, and I already walk properly on a leash. Full disclosure: I will do anything for a treat. Also, I had some surgery on my eyes to correct a problem with my eyelids, but they are much better! I will make a great addition to a family with kids, or other dogs or both. All I need is just a little tender loving care and I will be a wonderful dog for my forever family!
