Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

ADOPTION PENDING!

I'm Kela and I'm estimated to be about 2 1/2 years old!  I was adopted from a shelter in Columbus, TX but later returned when it was determined that I was not cat friendly.

I'm reported to be extremely sweet.....a complete doll!  I like to lean on people in hopes of getting lovin' rubbin'!  I'm very gentle so I think I would be great in a home with kids or dogs.....but no cats please!  I don't think I've had any training but I'm eager to learn!  

I'm ready to find my very own loving forever home but in the meantime, I'm in boarding so would be happy to find a foster home ..... I'm ready for family life!
