My name is Avery, like the island off the coast of Louisiana where Tabasco is made. I'm only about two years old and very healthy. My foster mom says I'm just the "perfect" dog. I am crate-trained, obedient, quiet, loving, playful, and potty trained. What more
could you want in a doggy companion? Maybe I should just go to Hollywood and give Lassie a run for her money. Nah, I'd prefer to just find a wonderful home where I can get lots of love and care. Who needs all that glitter and gold? Texas is the place for me. My foster mom has two boxers of her own, a male and a female, and I get along great with them. She also has a cat that I'm quite curious about. I don't want to eat him or anything, but he looks like he might be fun to play with. My foster mom is teaching me to
show the kitty respect. Yada, yada, yada!
She also has a daughter that is almost 3 and I really like her. She likes me too since I am very respectful of her. I don't jump on her. I just like to show her affection when she wants it with little kisses. I'm a little on the thin side, but that is changing with all the delicious, healthy meals I am eating. I would make
either a great exercise companion or couch-potato companion. Whatever suits you and your family (hopefully a little of both). Won't you consider adopting me? You won't regret it!
