Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Learn more about the Boxer.

My name is Diamond Girl, and believe me, I sure do shine! I’m a two- to three-year-old white boxer, and I have the coolest eyes: one is blue and the other is brown. I found out the craziest thing not too long ago – I’m deaf. But who knew? I just thought the world was pretty darn peaceful and quiet. You’ll find that I am just as playful and active and affectionate as any hearing dog. I love all kinds of people, tall and short, young and old, plus I like other dogs a lot, too. I don’t think I’ve been around a cat yet. I’m house trained, but I haven’t really hung out in a crate much, so you might have to have a little patience with me as I learn about all that. I absolutely love riding in the car. Your kids can turn up the radio just as loud as they want to, and it won’t bother me a bit! Please take me home – you’ll be so glad you found me.
