I'm Starsky, and you're probably wondering why a German Shepherd is on a boxer rescue site. Well, I was rescued with my boxer pal, Hutch, and we are so close, they didn't want to separate us at first. I'm a very playful one and one-half year-old male, and I love to romp and play with other dogs and chew on bones when I’m resting. My foster mom thinks I'm the most beautiful shepherd she has ever seen, and at 90 pounds right now, I am going to be quite the big boy when I fill out. I have a great temperament; in fact, I don’t have a mean bone in my body. I’ve been neutered, I’m healthy, I’m friendly, I’m crate and house trained, and I’m sweet, sweet, sweet! I am still recovering from FHO (femoral head osteoectomy) surgery due to a previous hip injury when I was just a puppy. In fact, I’ll be recovering for a few more weeks, but that shouldn’t stop you from taking me home! If your application is approved (and, please, do fill out the form!), you are welcome to talk to my wonderful vet about any questions or concerns you might have regarding the surgery. What more can I say to make you want to take me home with you?
