My name is Parker......I was recently found as a stray in East Houston. I found myself In a small town shelter which amounted to an outdoor pin with no A/C to be found In the summer Texas heat! Even at my young age, I knew I was on borrowed time! I’m SO happy that LSBR stepped up to save me! Now I know I’ll have the best chance of finding a wonderful forever home!
I’m a little bit boxer and a little bit American Bulldog and 100% sweet! I’m also a young boy and in case you‘re wondering, I can hear just fine! I‘m in a foster home now which includes three other boxers! I wasn’t used to being in a home but I’m adjusting well....it just took my foster family a minute to figure me out.....to set my boundaries and routine! I’m super smart, I listen well and have learned off, stay, and down. I love being close to my people, love to make them happy and love belly rubs They give me in return! There is no denying my boxer heritage.......when my people come home, I become a total boxer wiggle butt! My foster mom also reports that I seem to be house broken, walk pretty well on a leash and have even been getting pretty comfortable about my crate! Im still a little hesitant to go in (and don’t like going in head first) but I’m now sleeping in it and staying in it when my foster family is away.
