My name is Sherwood and I sure have come a long way since the nice people at Lone Star Boxer Rescue took me in. Just look at my pictures! Now that I am in rescue, looking and feeling so much better, the future looks bright and I am ready to love a new family that will love and respect me.
I love to take walks and I am a phenomenal walker by the way. I am very calm and focused when I walk. I'm not easily distracted by other dogs or people walking by me. I am also very smart - I know basic commands like sit, lay down (yes, I can lay down on command), and come. I do fine with other dogs, especially those that are non-dominant. Otherwise, it just takes me a little time to get to know those with stronger personalities.
I am a fun-loving, young guy that is just waiting on my chance at a great life with a wonderful family of my own. I just know that once you meet me, you won't be able to walk away. Please come see me!
