Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

ADOPTION PENDING!
Hi! I am a super happy, super energetic boy named Ace. I'm two years old, and I was found as a stray - lucky me, I was immediately brought into a foster home in the LSBR program. My foster mom thinks I'm pretty darn funny because I just look her in the face and talk to her like she can understand what I'm saying! (I'm convinced she can!) I'm a handsome white boxer (not deaf) that is good with other dogs and kids, but I have this "happy dance" I do that can overwhelm smaller children sometimes. Sometimes I am just so happy I can barely contain myself! I'm smart, and already know several commands. Plus, I'm crate and house trained. I think I'll be your Ace in the Hole...won't you give me a chance?
