Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

In almost any language, Anita means “grace,” and I think that might describe me perfectly. I am a petite boxer mix that is sweet and calm, and I adore my foster family. I love nothing more than to hang out with them, even if it’s just following them around the house checking out what everyone is doing. I’m either 3 or 4, or somewhere in between! I am friendly with big people, little people, dogs of all sizes and cats. And I’m pretty crazy about my toys! I’m house and crate trained and so, so ready to find my forever home!
