Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

They call me "Stretch." That's because I like to stretch out on the couch or the floor and relax. I'm a calm, cool, kinda Mastiff mix. As you can see from the pictures, I'm a big guy, but don't let that scare you off! I'm just a big teddy bear! I don't mind my foster brothers and sisters, in fact we all get along just fine. I am crate trained, heartworm negative and ready for my new lounge chair! Can you fit me into your home? When I'm all curled up relaxing, I really don't take up a lot of space - except in your heart!
