Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Hi everyone.....my name is Ozzy.  I'm about 5-6 years old and as sweet as they come.  I'm so glad to be safe now.  I recently found myself homeless having to fend for myself.  I was begging for food in a Kroger's parking lot when this nice lady came and took me in!  Boy, was I relieved! 
I'm now in a wonderful foster home and I love it!  I'm a very laid back guy that loves all people as well as other dogs and cats!  I'm not very energetic.......like I said, I'm very laid back!  Just call me a great big couch potato!  After being on my own for a while, I understand the benefits of a loving, permanent home and I really crave that.  If you are looking for a low key, laid back guy (ie:  easy dog) that acclimates very well to just about any home, then Ozzy is your man!
