Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

ADOPTION PENDING!

My name for the last two years has been Micky but in my former LSBR life I was known as Amber.  You see, I was adopted two years ago and have been living a good life with my boxer brother, Butter, but sadly we are being returned to LSBR due to the divorce of our parents.  We are very sad about it but looking forward to the next chapter of our lives! Ideally, we would love to find a new home that will take us both.

I'm a sweet boxer girl with a cute wiggle butt!  I enjoy giving kisses, cuddling and spending time with my 'people'.  I"m very friendly, house broken (I use a doggy door) and crate trained.  I shared my home with my boxer brother, Butters; however, we don't require going to the same home.  

I'm simply adorable and hard to resist!  Well, I think that you should really come to meet me and Butter to find out for yourselves!
