My name is Velvet - isn't that beautiful? And that's what I'll be when my coat grows back - and I bet it will FEEL like velvet, too! I'm just a puppy - only seven months old. I was found as a stray in Corpus Christi, and brought to LSBR. Thank goodness! I have had a pretty bad case of demodex, which is why my coat looks a little yucky, but my foster mom is taking such good care of me and I will be good as new in no time! She thinks I'm adorable (which I am), and my natural tail just adds to my adorable-ness. I think kids are just the coolest things - next to shoes. I'm a girl, after all, and what girl doesn't love shoes? My favorite thing to do is to gather up all of my toys and special shoes, and take them to my crate. Ah - heaven! I'm doing really well with my house training, and I'm learning all kinds of fun stuff in my foster home. There are lots of dogs here, and I am having the time of my life! I am so happy to be with my wonderful foster family, but I think I'll be even happier in my own home, so if you want something velvety and cuddly and sweet as can be, please think about adopting me!
