Hi .... my name is Ike and I'm a sweet boy whose approximately 2 years old. Look at my cropped ears.....they make me look so distinguished, don't they?! And guess what, I hear just fine.
I absolutely adore people but because of my size and curiosity, I think I would do better in a home with children who are a bit older.....say 2 or older. As you can see from my photo album, I also do very well with other dogs and, by the way, I do fine with cats too. I'm a little curious about cats but I'm also very well mannered so when I'm told to leave them alone, I easily comply. I'm a calm boy and I know how to keep my "four on the floor". I love to go for walks with my person and I'm very good on leash. I'm house trained and crate trained.
Someone hurry and meet me. Although I'm happy in my foster home, I really, really want a permanent home and special person of my own. In the words of my namesake (Ike Turner), don't leave me 'BROKEN HEARTED', 'I'LL BE ANY WAY YOU WANT ME TO BE' as long as I've got 'A LOVE LIKE YOURS'!!!!
