Atlas needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
Hi there, I'm Atlas! Just like Atlas from Greek Mythology, I've been carrying a lot of weight on my shoulders. I found myself old and alone without a family to love me anymore. Since I'm a "glass half full" type of fella, I've learned to embrace the positives in my life such as the awesome people at LSBR who rescued me and of course, my incredibly good looks! I've often been told I'm the George Clooney of Boxers! Even though I'm 9 years young, I've still got a lot of pep in my step! Like a fine aged wine, I'm smooth, mellow, and calm. I'm excellent while walking on a leash and I never get bothered by other dogs even if they are reacting to me. I'm house trained, kid trained, and basically a total love bug! If there's one thing I don't like, it's cats. I've tried to make it work in the past with those little fellas but it's just a no go. If I could have one last wish, it's to find my forever family or a forever foster family. Due to my age, minor medical conditions, and being underweight, I'm a part of LSBR's Forever Foster Program. Please say you'll consider opening your home to me. I need a nice family that can give me a loving environment for however long I have left. Please help make my last years the very best!!
