Hi there, my name is Monroe. I am a young 2 year old fella. My foster mom says I behave and play like a much younger pup. I am also on the small side for a male Boxer. All I know is, I am so very glad that the nice people from the shelter contacted LSBR and got me into their program. My favorite past time is playing with my foster brothers and sisters. I heard them say I am "good with dogs, large and small, and love kids and that I'm not even that bothered by cats". I really don't know what that means but I assume it is a good thing.
I love going for rides in the car. I am a bit ashamed to say but I really, really love hopping back and forth from the front to the back. They are working on that with me but I have so much fun being next to my people. I have learned some basic things like sit, and down but I need a loving human who will teach me how to walk nice on a leash and stop jumping on people. I get so excited when new people come to see me and in the home I was in before they didn't bother to teach me these basic things. I am a quick learner though.
I come equipped with my natural tail and natural ears so if this bothers you at all I am not the one for you. Please ask to meet me as to know me is to love me! I am patiently waiting in my foster home for my forever family to find me. I promise you will absolutely LOVE your Monroe boy.
