Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

My name is Vera and I can sum myself up in one word....love!  I am a very sweet, well mannered girl.  I'm about 5 years old, I get along with other dogs as well as cats!  I simply love to love and be loved!  I just know I'd would be great in a home with kids too but my foster mom doesn't have any of those!  

My foster mom says that I'm such a joy.  She says that I mind very well and know my basic commands like 'sit' and 'shake' and I'm leash trained.  I am crate trained and have mastered the doggie door in my foster mom's home.  One last thing......I'm a snuggle bug!

It's getting cold out there......If you need a good snuggle partner to keep you warm on a cold night or are just looking for a super sweet companion, I'm your girl!
