Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Have you seen those movies about the cute beagle named Shiloh? Wow, that little dog was so lucky to have been rescued! I love watching those on DVD, and I love that my name is Shiloh, too. Sometimes I think I was named that because I am a little shy sometimes. But I am a very happy girl, especially since I am in such a wonderful foster home right now, and there are kids that I adore and a boxer buddy to play with. I have a long natural tail that I love to wag (and my boxer buddy is just a little jealous that I can do that!). I think I'm about a year and a half, and I am super sweet and pretty (I can say that about myself, can't I?). I've met some cats, and I would just as soon not hang out with them. Although the crate is not my favorite place to be, I am just fine in it, and I'm completely house trained. OK, I do have one teeny vice: I like to jump over short fences. I know a little training will fix that in no time! The only thing that would make me happier than I am right now is to have my very own family. Shiloh the beagle found his own happy ending; will you help me find mine?
