Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Hi, my name is Shadow. However, I am not one to hide out - I like to be right in the middle of the action. I'm a very sweet boy and I have lots of energy. I am good with older children - you know, about age seven and up. I like to ride in the car, chew on bones, and play, play, play. I'm also pretty proud of my brown ear. I think it makes me most distinctive, don't you? The people at Lone Star Boxer Rescue have me in a very nice place where I am learning to walk on a leash and be a very good boy. I'm really smart, so I know that I'll catch on to all of this new stuff very soon. I love people, so please adopt me and I'll be your personal shadow.
