Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Just like a gorgeous flower, I will put a smile on your face with my sweet personality. As of July 2008, I'm only about 9 - 10 months of age, so I am a young gal. I've had such a tough pup-hood but my future brightened up immensely when LSBR rescued me from the shelter. Now I just dream of my forever home where I can dazzle my new family with my charm. If I were in a beauty pageant, surely I would be voted Miss Congeniality. I get along with everyone: children, dogs and cats — even adult people! My current foster family has an 8-year-old son, two dogs and several cats. I love them all. I'm young so I still need to learn some basic manners, but I'm a quick study and very eager to please. Isn't there room in your heart and home for a petite, sweet, easy-going girl like me?
