Hi…I’m Della and my previous owner surrendered me to the LSBR. I had a few litters of puppies for him, and at age 8, I guess he no longer needed me. However, my foster mom and dad think I’m the best behaved dog ever.
These are some of the things you will like about me.
1) I do not bark. I know what it means to have an inside voice.
2) I love to cuddle. If you want me to sleep in the bed with you, I would be happy to. Might need a king-sized bed. I do take up some room.
3) I enjoy taking walks and am very well behaved on a leash.
4) I am not a picky eater. I will keep your kitchen floor clean for you but have no interest in cleaning countertops.
5) I love to roll on my back in the grass. Tummy rubs are also welcomed.
6) I do not like to be left alone outside. Hey…that’s no way to treat a member of the family, now is it?
7) I will not get into anything if left alone inside. If I’m told not to, I will not get on the furniture. I do like having my own spot to relax. A comfy pet bed would be most appreciated.
8) I am a healthy girl…up to date on all my shots and not on any medications.
9) I do not pass gas like most of my other boxer friends.
10) I do not slobber or drool but I do like to lick. It’s my way of showing affection.
11) I do not jump on people. Despite my large frame, I am very gentle. I think I might like to have some kids to play with.
12) I enjoy having my dog friends over for a playdate.
13) Cats? I haven’t really met one.
14) I am a lover, not a fighter. I don’t exhibit any aggressive behaviors towards people or other pets.
Things you might not like about me…nothing! According to my foster mom, I am perfect.
