Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

ADOPTION PENIDING!

Meet Savannah............I'm a 4 year old boxer girl looking for a new home.  I was once the loving companion of children that I adored.  Now the children are grown and have moved away and my family has no time for me.  As a result, I'm looking for a new place to hang my hat............

I love being around my people and enjoy the company of all humans but especially little ones.  I would love to find a new home full of kids to play with!  And I'm already crate trained, house broken, and have excellent house manners.  So if you do have a house full of kids, you don't have to worry about investing a lot of time training me!  Just show me the ropes once and I'll get it!  

I'm a little shy at first but, watch out........I warm up quickly, am such a love bug and I have the cutest boxer wiggle butt!  Did I tell you how much I love attention?  Well, I do.......and I would like nothng more than to become a permanent part of your family!
