Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

You know that song that goes 'They call me mellow yellow'?  Well, they call me 'mellow fellow'! Yep, I'm a chill kind of guy and my name is Darby!  I'm a 5ish year old boxer boy that was picked up as a stray.

My foster mom says that I'm AWESOME!  I'm sweet, easy going, well behaved and I get along well with my fur siblings as well as two-legged siblings in my foster home!  I'm also crate trained and house broken!

If you are looking for an easy dog......and a boy that easy to love, you really need to meet me!  To know me is to love me!
