Hi there, I’m Sophie and I’m seven years young! I may be getting up there in years, but I can still do the “Boxer wiggle” just like any other young pup! I have a clean bill of health, and I’m a pretty well behaved girl. I’m very obedient, crate and housetrained, and I do well on a leash! I have what they call the “trifecta” which means I get along well with other dogs, cats, and kids. Speaking of kids, I ADORE children! I was raised with small children and I love playing with them and being around them at all times! My previous parents are missionaries and are moving overseas. They were afraid to take me on their journey because they thought the flight/move would be too traumatic for me. I miss them dearly, and I will always have a special place in my heart for them. That doesn’t mean I can’t love you too! So please, take a moment and fill out an adoption application. When it comes to the part where you list the dog of interest, be sure to type in Sophie. That’s me! There’s nothing I want more than a loving home to spend my senior years.
