Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Brutus
Brutus

Attached are some more updated fotos of Brutus. He is doing fantastic. He has learned to sit, lay, shake with each paw, speak, and jump. He has really made a huge improvement in the last month. We are so thrilled to have Brutus as part of our family. He loves going to the dog park, and playing with all his fellow dog pals. He also enjoys his favorite past time, sleeping. Brutus is a funny boy. He likes to wrestle and body slam, yes, body slam. If he wants to play hard with you, he will literally come running at you, then knock you with his back end. He is one tough and funny dog. Thank you, --- Aurora Hayes, Wayne Taylor, and Brutus ---

RED
RED

Hi Arian, My son Mark and his wife asked me to send you all some pictures of their new addition “Brody” (Red). He said he had gotten an email from your organization asking for input on how Brody was doing in his new home. Hope these pics answer the question. In these pics he is at our house in Friendswood with his companion Bailey. Of course the guy in the chair is my husband. As you can see both are truly lap dogs. It took a few days for Brody to adjust himself to us. I new it was just a matter of patience on our part. He and Bailey get along well. She has toned down her snarling at him, mainly because he just ignores her. He loves going on walks and gets real excited when the leash is brought out. He is very loving and affectionate. In fact he will lick your face off if you let him. My son and Ashley have been on work travel a lot lately so Brody has been staying with us. Of course we don’t mind. He is a joy. We just wanted you to know that he is in a good place and doing well. If you ever find out anymore about his past history let us know. There are times when he acts like we are going to punish him. It makes us wonder what kind of home he came from. Later. --- Margo Albores ---

CC
CC

CC is doing great! Potty training is going pretty well. She knows what to do, and does it MOST of the time =) We absolutely love her! I can't believe how lucky we got to get a dog so laid back, smart, and absolutely LOVEABLE!!

CLEOPATRA

She is doing GREAT! We changed her name shortly after we adopted her to "Daisy" because we were out at a park on day and someone called their dog, named "Daisy", and she reacted to the name. She and "Roan", our first boxer, have become one. They can not be without each other. If they are not sleeping together under the bed, they are outside wrestling. We could not have picked a better boxer. She has become a part of the family that we would not know what to do without. We have not hesitated a bit to speak out for the Lone Star Boxer Rescue. Because We Care

CHANCE
CHANCE

I just wanted to let you know Chance is doing very well at his new home. I can't get over how super sweet he is. Chance shows off his skills every day. He likes to let me know just how smart he is. I found out he will do just about anything for a treat. He's not crazy about going in the crate but I just show him a treat and he will go in with a little help. Once he is in he doesn't make a sound, you don't even know he's in there. My son Karsen truly loves him. He wants to take him every where we go.In the mornings when I get up for work the 1st thing I do is let Chance out of the crate so he can go potty. But the 1st thing he does is head strait for Karsen's room. But sometimes will find that Karsen is not in there. Chance will pace the floors, sniffing every room until he finds him in my bed. I come home for lunch to let him out and play and he will do the same thing-look for my son. THANK YOU LSBR! You helped bring something special to our home. We will always remember how we came to know Chance. CHRISTI M. FISHER
