Kramer
A few years ago, I adopted a wonderful boxer from you, Kramer who is now 4 years old. He is a wonderful dog, absolutely no regrets at all. I also have 2 others, Mollie Belle (5 years) and Garth (2 1/2 years). I wrote a poem about them and wanted to share it with you. It's hard to put into words what these animals mean to me, but here is a simplistic poem I penned just for them. I hope you enjoy it. An Ode to My Boxers Boxers, my boxers, Canine loves of my life. There’s, Princess Molly Belle Star, gentle and sweet, Kramer the protector and guard (with wisdom from the street) and Garth the bright eyed baby who “WooWoo’s” when you meet. They’re all very different but one thing is sure, the love they give Is strong and pure. Their companionship is beyond compare, They comfort and love without a fear They also keep you going, when you’re feeling down and out They’re quite a mischievous crew, WITHOUT A DOUBT. They plunder and pillage, not meaning to upset the house, they’re just VERY, VERY curious and love to bounce about. They go thru every grocery bag, never taking anything out, that is while you’re watching…… and they can be quiet as a mouse The ultimate clowns, playful and silly, that’s what they are, full of energy, They snuggle and snuggle and in your lap they love to be… giant dogs trying to be like a little baby Their gaze is directly into your eyes - and when you speak to them, that nubby little tail begins to fly. When you know them really, really well, the expressions on their faces, has alot to tell. Ah, if they could only speak! Molly Belle Star would say “I know you love me, and it’s all about me, me, me, me,” And Kramer would say, I am so grateful that you adopted me out of a cage, now I’m so loved, all my loyalty is yours and it cannot be gauged. Oh, and Garth, he would say, I’m a baby, I need your attention and I just want to play. I know that one day these special friendships will end, and thru the pain I will truly count myself blessed for having the privilege of experiencing such unconditional love and bliss. I wouldn’t have missed it for the world!! Gay Winters
